[You gasp, choking on steam. Your head spins and you lean heavily against the smooth metal wall around you. It feels like a huge pressure on you just lifted, leaving your head reeling and your body weak.
There's a hissing in front of you, and two doors slide open. The air that flows through them is clear and, above all else, cool. Without a second's hesitation you stagger towards it.
After a few minutes, your breathing evens out and you wonder where you are and what happened. You stand on a small raised dais. Looking around, you see a utilitarian space. The walls are bare metal, interrupted with a few columns and overhead beams, and the space is wide. A few cafeteria style tables with attached seats are placed on one side of the room, others lie overturned and abandoned in a rust stained patch to the left. More striking than that however is the vista beyond -- you're looking through about a metre of reinforced clear material out into space. An unknown planet with a purplish hue is dimly illuminated by the light of a small sun, behind them stars shine fixedly.
A hissing noise behind you calls your attention to the chamber you stepped out of. The light within flickers then dies and attempts to pry the door open, even with strength, magic or other powers are fruitless -- there is something there that repels your efforts. In a screen nearby a message scrolls. You catch your name followed by the text:
Alarmed, you turn your attention to the control panel below the screen. There is a keypad but your attempts to manipulate it only summon a bored sounding female voice.]

[It's glitched. The woman's voice is stuck on an endless loop, and since the control panel is under the same strange protective barrier as the chamber that brought you here, your only options are to shut her up by pressing a button or trying to leave the cafeteria-like space. There are two large galley style doors on the other side of the vast hall.]
((ooc: anything goes rp experiment! include 1-6 or # in your subject for a specific one of my characters or go wandering. Setting is a space-station with a clearly disastrous past. Management have summoned your character and mine here for a specific purpose, whether to fulfil a task, ranging from routine maintenance to social experiment, accidentally or just for entertainment. Let me know if you're prefer to keep previous game CR! Also, feel free to mingle, thread jack and let me know if you'd like to use this setting/have your character added to the phone list. Any questions, ask below! Let's see what happens.))
