[asgard] [ HOSPITAL LAB | FORENSICS DEPARTMENT]
Hospital Lab.
Located on the third floor of the Hospital in Sigyn, the lab is a outfitted with the most up to date lab technology that you can imagine -- think C.S.I rather than real life! It gleams with a hygenic glow, and is mostly used for medical tests and bloodwork, the diagnosis side of hospital work. However, since the Travellers arrived and one tiny detective joined as an intern, this has been expanded to include the recently formed:
Forensics Department.
Currently consisting of 5 NPC lab technicians and Conan, the Forensics department is dedicated to investigating any suspicious events that come their way, including the murder suicides in Hel, Heimdall, Odin and Thor as well as incidents of NPC deaths. Under Conan's direction, they're expanding their services to include scene exams, finger-printing and other standards of police investigation. Right now, they're hiring, looking in particular for people with experience in detective work or forensic analysis. A medical background is appreciated as when the lab proper is short-handed, the forensics department will be enlisted to help out (likewise, the lab staff are available to assist the forensics department as needed).
The department is currently sharing the lab facilities with the lab staff and have access to the morgue in the hospital basement. They have two small meeting rooms and a shared office off the main laboratory offices, as well as a storage room.
Current Forensics Staff:
Department Head: Edogawa Conan (
holmes_fanatic)
Conan appears to be 7-years-old, and is from modern day Tokyo. He lives in Heimdall, but is one of Hel's. He's got a very thorough knowledge of murder investigations, police procedure and autopsies. Conan directs investigations and scene exams, teaches the forensics personnel about police procedure and scene exams and is learning the use of the medical technology used in the laboratory.
Senior Technician: Analie Hagen [NPC]
Analie's spent most of her adult life working in the lab. She's mid-30s, very fit, and has long brown hair that is always elaborately braided. In everything but her hair she is no-nonsense and practical, known in the department for being painfully blunt.
Technical Advisor: Sander Visser [NPC].
Sander is 50s, with a sandy gold beard flecked with grey. He's a larger man, easy going and relaxed, primarily in charge of keeping the machinery in the lab going. He can fix or tweak most of the hospital laboratory to suit the needs of a case. Drinks more coffee than any one man should.
Intern: Henrik [NPC].
Still somewhat grey -- vague, anxious to oblige and nervous.
General staff member: Thea [NPC]
General staff member: Jonas [NPC]
Now Hiring!
Please copy/paste the form in the textbox below with your character's info, and we can set up an IC interview/meeting! Pay is good, but the hours are erratic -- and when there is a case on, overtime is not uncommon!

hope this is okay /)_(\
Journal:
Position Applying For: intern, probably...
Skills/Experience: Despite how delinquent-like he seems, he used to work part-time at a clinic! He also used to be a part of a company that specialized in solving high intrigue for the rich, though in their case, they... acted as the thieves and assassins. He probably won't talk about that, though. Not easily fazed by murder and intrigue. Lastly, he's serious and diligent, and though he doesn't have all the qualifications for the job, he's a quick study and works hard! Yep.
Would you prefer IC interview/OOC discussion: Either/or is fine with me! o7
Preferred e-mail/aim/contact: AIM: soft drowning, though let me know if you want to contact me, so that I can get... online... haha...

Position Applying For: Intern or technician?
Skills/Experience: He has investigated (and solved!) a few murders, which included using some forensic techniques, like using luminol spray, dusting for fingerprints, detecting poison with reagents (lawyers investigate crimes where he's from, for some odd reason).
Would you prefer IC interview/OOC discussion: Either's fine!
Preferred e-mail/aim/contact: aim: stealsyourcovers

Journal:
Position Applying For: Intern, or would you be interested in a criminal psychologist, perhaps~~?
Skills/Experience: Before being pulled from her world, she was a criminal psychology major in university, and has a background in the area, as her father was once the sheriff of their northern European town -- and kind of still acts as such, when necromancers roll into town, and need to be investigated. Although inexperienced with death, she has faced her fair share of danger, caught in an airship with a handful of murderer/spies. Her moral compass is rather strong, swayed only by compassion.
Would you prefer IC interview/OOC discussion: Whichever is most convient for you!
Preferred e-mail/aim/contact: [email protected] or shortcakes @ plurk! Thank you, by the way!

I think with Leonie's experience she could definitely justify a position as a criminal psychologist! So yes, we can assume that she interviewed successfully and got the job.
Since Conan and Leonie haven't met, I would like to play this out so we get an idea of how they interact and might work together. Would you prefer an inbox thread or a log?
I'm anantipodean on AIM or plurk, feel free to add me/look me up as necessary! This weekend is looking rather busy, but I am really pleased that you got in touch!
